Samantha had always been treated as a second son, doing the ranch work alongside her father and brother, but now they are dead, she is having problems with the foreman and hopes a mail-order husband will be good for the ranch and give her an opportunity to experience some of the feminine things she had missed out on growing up. Sweet novella about a ranch hand fulfilling a dream of having his own ranch and a tomboy getting a taste of the girlie things she'd never had. Samantha and Rhett were great together and it was a nice story about the ups and downs in their relationship as they got to know one another.
