Daniel is ordered by the king to take control of a castle in the lowlands and marry the daughter of the current castle’s keeper, and Daniel finds Rona every bit as challenging as the task he’s been set. There were so many secrets and deceptions in the beginning of this relationship, but I was glad that most all of them were cleared up fairly early on and they could deal with the hardship ahead of them as a team. I loved the way Daniel let Rona continue on with her wild ways, within reason, and didn’t try to cage her. I wish we could continue on with young Will. Great story and great finish to the series!
