Iain is sent to retrieve Judith from England for his sister-in-law who is determined to have her dear friend at her side for the birth of her first child. Being forced to undertake a long journey with someone, almost always leads to feelings developing . . . at least in romance novels. I enjoyed all the characters in this story, the secondary characters included. This story, for me, exemplifies the Highlander Romance genre, with a few scenes thrown in for comedic relief.The next book in this series is Ransom and tells Brodick’s story, one of my favorite secondary characters from this book. Highly recommended series!
