Amelia was the sort of self-absorbed, high-maintenance person I've never been, and honestly have never liked, but her adventures in dating were fun and light-hearted enough that I didn't mind that. It was enjoyable to watch her slowly discover the criteria she looked for in prospective men was woefully misguided, and it opened her eyes to someone who had been right in front of her the whole time. Sweet romance!
