Driving back to their ranch in a blizzard, brothers Brock and Brady come upon an unconscious woman lying in the road and they take her home, hoping they can nurse her back to health. The storyline of this is VERY similar to Colters’ Woman by Maya Banks (Book 1 in the Colters’ Legacy Series). Jeni is on the run from an abusive ex-husband, and doesn’t want to endanger the brothers with her presence, but can’t help feeling the attraction between them. I liked the two brothers, but I thought Jeni came off as a bit too eager—given her past and how sick she was supposed to have been (who has sex on the mind, when they are that sick?)—and I thought the ending drug on a little longer than it needed to, after the action had passed. Quick read.
