Callum is an intriguing, mysterious character, due to his inability to talk as a result of his troubled past. Marguerite is the only one who can get through to him. It is beautiful to watch all the conversations between these two wonderful characters where touch is the main mode of communication. I wish Marguerite would have gotten a backbone a little earlier in the book, but the story was enjoyable nonetheless. I hope this series continues with Dougal's story!
