Evie works as a maid for a Mail-Order Bride Agency, and decides she'd like to become a mail-order bride herself, but fears her background wouldn't make her a very good candidate and secretly takes matters into her own hands, corresponding with prospective husband, Chance. This was a sweet story about two people, who knew virtually nothing about one another, yet desperately wanted a life mate, and were willing to ride out a few bumps along the way to get it. It was nice to get a glimpse of some characters from the McCutcheon Family Series, and I look forward to reading Trudy's Montana Sky story.
